- 1. How do you EAT ?
Not only what but How you eat majorly dictate your health. Bringing a Qualitative shift in how you eat will lead to substantial changes in nourishment you receive.
- Be thankful for the food in your plate, it will behave differently in your system.
- Keep 25% of your stomach empty to let digestion happen effectively, don’t be a slave of your tongue and eat whatever is front of you
- Maintain 3-4 hours of gap in eating and sleeping, don’t go to sleep right after sleeping, it is damaging.
- We are capable of making decisions for ourselves, we are gifted with this intelligence, make conscious choices and look for healthy substitutes.
Food is Fuel, if you can choose the best fuel for your vehicle why not choose the best fuel for your system ?Fresh, raw and healthy food brings agility and alertness;whereas, cooked and unhealthy food brings inertia into your body, making you lethargic and languid. Drop off all the famous celebrity diets that are happening all over the place and start listening to your body.
- 2. Positive Attitude
Maintaining Positive attitude especially in challenging situations in life acts as a Life-Saver. Bring optimism to bring constructive changes in your life. Move away from negative bias. It will alleviate fear & stress and build confidence and faith in self. You will start attracting better situations and opportunities.
And being positive here does not mean completely ignoring reality and letting yourself slip into the world of illusion, it is accepting what it is, but with a welcoming and positive attitude.
If this situation is not something you anticipated, if the results are somewhat deviated, accept them, and then look for the solutions, how can you make these right. By doing so, you face reality with an open mind.
- 3. Relax because why not ?
Everyday make Space and Time to relax. Don’t let restlessness take a toll on your well-being. Restfulness will bring an ease to your body and mind. Just sit and BREATHE In and Out.
No goal, yesterday, tomorrow. Let go of all your worries, find a moment of peace and calmness. Dance around, meditate, sing in the shower, play with your children, pick up a book, stretch your muscles, go for a walk, spend some time with your plants, write a journal and there are endless number of things which can lighten you up.
And if you understand that whatever you do with complete involvement, with a sense of joy, everything becomes a relaxing activity or work in itself. Just you in here and NOW. LIVE.
- 4. Grateful
It is the greatest Quality of all. Whatever you Think and Thank you Attract in your life. it will open up doors for possibilities. Find a moment to Thank, you don’t have to expressly go and tell them (it would be great if you can) you can just acknowledge this with emotions and a simple thought. There are so many things to be grateful about. You will see that your stockpile of happiness is growing bigger and bigger.
You will start attracting abundance in your life, everyone around you will be more welcoming and helping. Start thanking, it is a free investment with exponential returns.
- 5. Let go
When you empty your hands of the past and future only then you can hold what is in here and Now. Drop all the baggage from the past like a snake sheds its skin, only then you can grow. Let GO to be let’s go in life. If you are constantly thinking about what has happened, you are making scenarios in your mind that you could have done this, you could have said this, then it wouldn’t have happened. This simply means that you are not accepting your present situation and are looking for amends that too in the past which you cannot change while ignoring the reality & not living in the here and now and which is a possibility of change, the only reality. It is complete irony, you are following a wrong approach. Think about it.
- 6. Attention
Take your attention on what your Healthy habits are and ensure you do them regularly and seek to Increase their quality. Develop this habit of paying attention to yourself, it will change the essence of life. Everything you do comes with its after effects. If you want positive consequences, you have to start bringing some awareness. Every step you take, every decision you make, every thought you think, every word you say, every bite that you eat, every minute you spend should be in line with your well-being.
- 7. Replace
Be Alert and Active to identify unhealthy habits and replace them with healthy ones. Come out of the vicious cycle. Don’t wait for the right moment, don’t wait till Monday or 1st day of the next month, this very moment is right to bring out required changes. Sustain them long enough to let them become automatic because the more you repeat, the more permanent they will become.
It will be foolish of you to expect different results by following the same old habits. The changes you want to see can only be achieved if you take a detour from how you used to conduct yourself.
- 8. Reward yourself
It has been found that those who reward themselves on their small-small Achievements they are more Healthier and Hopeful even in unfavorable situations in life. Rewarding produces dopamine (or increases dopamine levels) in the body, creating a sense of pleasure. Take tiny steps, set small goals, achieve them, give yourself a reward because you deserve it after all. It will provide you with contentment, a sense of accomplishment which will induce you to move forward consistently.
- 9. Sleep Well
Sleep is a natural gift from the universe to Recharge and Rejuvenate self. Ensure you get sufficient REST in your sleep. Remember it is not about the number of hours you sleep but the QUALITY of sleep you get in those hours. Have a different approach to sleep now, instead of going to bed exhausted after a long and tiring day, look at it as a possibility of rejuvenation, of rest,letting your body repair itself. Let your body decide how much to sleep, you will naturally wake up once your body feels completely relaxed. For some 7 hours of sleep is enough, for others even 5 hours of sleep is adequate. If you sleep in absolute relaxation, repairing and other processes within the body will happen more efficiently and effectively.
These steps are not difficult to imbibe but require a certain amount of awareness and efforts from your side. Start making conscious choices. Entangle yourself from the ropes that bind you to achieve what you really want.
