Heart Reset Retreat — Ashwani Deswal
A retreat for the ones ready to stop hurting

You can keep going.
Or you can stop.

You’ve been pushing yourself for months.

You can keep telling everyone you’re fine, keep deleting their messages, keep filling the silence with work, Netflix, junk food and whoever swiped right.

Or you can stop. For four days. And actually change something.

One small room of people who understand without asking. A practice older than your pain. And a guide who has walked 100,000 people through the door you are standing in front of right now.

This retreat is for you if

You are not the only one
in this room.

Age 25–40. Already tried therapy, astrology, courses, podcasts, rebounds — and still feel stuck.

💔

Going through a breakup

It happened recently or it’s been dragging on. You still check their profile. Your body hasn’t caught up with your decision yet. You need more than time.

If it’s been less than a year, this is for you.

⚖️

Divorce or separation

The marriage is ending or already over. There are children, a shared life, an identity you wore for years. The grief is real even when the decision is right.

If you’re rebuilding who you are, this is for you.

🔁

Stuck in the same pattern

Different person. Same ending. You see the pattern but seeing hasn’t been enough to stop it. The work here goes deeper than awareness.

If you’re ready to interrupt the cycle, this is for you.

Testimonials

What our participants experienced

Be honest with yourself

This is not for everyone.

  • Not for the person who wants to be told their ex was wrong and they were the victim. The work here is harder than that, and more freeing.
  • Not for the person waiting for closure from the other side. Closure is built, slowly, in the body. Not received.
  • Not for someone who wants to come and not be changed. If the story must stay exactly as it is, this is not your retreat.
When you change, everything changes.
Transform from within —
and your life transforms with you.

The methodology

Most retreats work on one dimension. This one works on all four.

Heartbreak is not only emotional. The body holds it. The mind rehearses it. Your energy carries it into every room. So the work happens on all four — together, and in this order.

01

Body

The nervous system has been at war for months. Before any insight can land, the body has to feel safe again. Day one is where we begin — somatic practices, breath, sleep, ground.

02

Mind

Then the story. The one you’ve been telling yourself about why this happened, what it meant, what it says about you. We don’t argue with the story. We dismantle the floor it has been standing on.

03

Emotions

What was held in the body now has somewhere to go. This is the day people don’t expect — the day grief and rage and tenderness move through, in a room that can hold all of it.

04

Energy

And then the part nobody talks about — the energy you have been spending on them, unconsciously, every day. We bring it home. So you walk out lighter, not emptier.

Four days, four arcs

A practice, not a programme.

Day One

Arrival & Letting Down

You arrive in the afternoon. There is no introduction circle. No icebreaker. You are shown to your room. You walk to the river. You eat in silence. By evening, a single sitting — guided breath, the body coming down from months of being on. The first night, most people sleep in a way they had forgotten was possible.

Day Two

The Body Remembers

This is the somatic day. Yoga Nidra in the morning. A long, slow afternoon practice that lets the body release what the mind has been holding. There is movement. There is stillness. There is, for many, the first cry that has not been forced down. Nothing is performed. Nothing is shared aloud unless you choose to.

Day Three

The Story You’ve Been Telling

The mind day. Ashwani sits with the group for several hours, dismantling — gently — the meanings we’ve made of what happened. Why it had to be them. Why we stayed. Why we are still defending it. Ancient frameworks, modern neuroscience, no spiritual bypassing. By evening, the story has moved.

Day Four

The Return

Integration. What goes home with you. A long morning practice, a final sitting in the circle, and the conversation about re-entry — the messages waiting, the friend who will ask how it was, the bed you will sleep in tomorrow. You leave with a practice you can keep doing for the rest of your life.

The place

Where this happens matters.

The retreat is held at a private sanctuary on the banks of the Ganga in Rishikesh, away from the markets and the noise. Fourteen rooms. A practice hall facing the water. A small library. A garden that asks for nothing. Meals are simple, vegetarian, prepared on-site. There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms by design — only in one corner of the library, for the calls that cannot wait. The place itself does half the work.

What participants have said

In their own words.

I came thinking I needed closure. I left understanding I had been waiting for the wrong thing. I haven’t checked his profile in four months.
A., 34
Bengaluru · Spring 2026 cohort
My marriage of nineteen years ended in March. I went to this retreat in May. It is not that the grief went away. It is that I stopped being afraid of it.
V., 47
Mumbai · Spring 2026 cohort
I have done a lot of inner work. Therapy, yoga, two silent retreats. This was different. I cannot fully explain how. I only know that I came home to myself in a way I had not before.
R., 29
London · Spring 2026 cohort
I wasn’t sure I was ready. I came anyway. By day two, something in me had already shifted — not because anyone told me what to feel, but because I finally had space to feel it.
P., 38
Dubai · Spring 2026 cohort
I spent two years intellectualising my pain. Ashwani helped me understand the difference between thinking about your grief and actually moving through it. Day 1 itself broke open something I had been protecting for a very long time.
K., 44
Singapore · Spring 2026 cohort
I came as a sceptic. My therapist suggested it and I almost didn’t book. I am so glad I did. I returned to my life not with answers, but with a kind of steadiness I hadn’t felt in years.

Every inclusion, explained.

A guided audio meditation personally created by Ashwani Deswal — the same practice used on the first night of the retreat, when the body needs to come down from months of being on high alert.

Most people with heartbreak or divorce grief experience disrupted sleep — either unable to fall asleep, or waking at 3am with the mind running. This practice works in 20 minutes and rebuilds the habit of deep, uninterrupted rest.

Yours to keep and use every night. No expiry.

Most people focus on the emotional and mental side of heartbreak. This course goes one layer deeper — into the energetic dimension that most healing approaches completely miss.

You’ll understand why you still feel drained even after months of “working on yourself”, why certain memories have a physical weight to them, and how to consciously reclaim the energy you’ve been spending on someone who is no longer there.

Self-paced. Return to it whenever the energy dips again.

The retreat does the deep work. The community keeps it alive after you go home. This is a private, active group of people doing the same inner work — not a passive chat group where nothing happens.

Access includes weekly live sessions with Ashwani Deswal, a structured accountability framework, and a private space to ask questions that come up in the weeks after the retreat, when re-entry is hardest.

Immerse: 1 month · Deepen: 3 months · Integrate: 6 months

A recurring live workshop hosted by Ashwani Deswal — focused on building momentum and energy in the weeks and months after the retreat. Each session has a specific theme: re-entry, identity, relationships, work, and inner vitality.

This is not a passive webinar. It is a small-group live session where you can ask questions, do guided practices, and reconnect with the work when life pulls you back into old patterns.

Premium: 3 sessions · Ultimate: 6 sessions

Geetansh is a relationship coach personally trained by Ashwani Deswal — and one of the sharpest practitioners in the country for breakup, divorce and relationship pattern work.

These are private, one-on-one sessions held during the retreat days — not group discussions. You bring your specific situation, your specific patterns, and your specific questions. He works with you directly on what is actually happening in your relationship history, not a generic framework.

Past participants consistently describe these sessions as the most unexpected and valuable part of the entire retreat.

3 private sessions · scheduled during retreat days 2 and 3

Four private sessions with Ashwani Deswal himself — held in the month after the retreat. These are not check-ins. They are focused, one-on-one sessions where Ashwani works directly with your specific situation, your patterns, and your next chapter.

Access to Ashwani at this level is rare. These sessions are reserved exclusively for Ultimate tier participants and are limited to 14 people per cohort.

Guided by

Ashwani Deswal

Ashwani Deswal is a Self Mastery Guide. For fifteen years he has guided more than 100,000 people across 120+ countries — through grief, rupture, addiction, burnout and the quiet kind of heartbreak nobody talks about.

His work has been chosen by the Indian Air Force, the Indian Army and the Indian Navy. By Google, Samsung, Amazon, the Reserve Bank of India. By scientists at CSIR-NEERI and IAS officers. He writes a recurring wellness column for Dainik Bhaskar. He is IPHM-accredited and an RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance.

None of that is what makes him the right person to guide this retreat. What does is that he has sat with people on the worst day of their inner life — thousands of times — and learned the difference between the kind of presence that helps and the kind that doesn’t.

The questions everyone asks.

No. Therapy is essential work, and many of our participants are in therapy. This retreat does not replace it. What it offers is a different shape of healing — practical, somatic, communal, and built around a practice you can take home. We will ask in your application form whether you are currently in therapy. If you are, we recommend telling your therapist you are coming.

No. There is no forced sharing. There is a circle each day, and there is space to speak if you want to. Many people choose not to and still describe the retreat as the most powerful experience of their lives. The work is internal. The room only holds it.

A yoga retreat works on the body. A silent retreat works on the mind. This retreat does both — and adds the emotional and energetic work that heartbreak specifically requires. It is also deliberately small. Fourteen people, one guide, four days. Not a programme. A practice.

You will be. That doesn’t disqualify you — it is the precise reason to come. The work is not to stop loving them. The work is to stop needing them in order to feel whole. There is a difference. It is the difference this retreat exists for.

Yes. Many of our participants are mid-divorce, separated, or sitting in a marriage that has ended emotionally but not legally. The retreat is held in complete confidentiality. What happens here, and who is in the room, is not shared anywhere — including on social media. We ask the same of you.

Continue both. Bring your medication. Tell us in the application form what you are taking and whether you are in therapy. This retreat works alongside, not instead of, clinical care. If we feel the retreat would not serve you at this moment, we will tell you honestly, refund your application, and recommend a better time.

The honest answer is: it depends less on time and more on what you do with the time. Many people carry a heartbreak for years because they manage it rather than move through it. This retreat is not about accelerating grief artificially. It is about doing the actual work — in your body, your mind, your energy — so that time can actually do its job. Most participants report that four days here moved them further than the previous year alone.

The Heart Reset is one of the only dedicated heartbreak retreats in India. It is held in Rishikesh, on the banks of the Ganga, and is guided by Ashwani Deswal — a Self Mastery Guide with 15+ years of experience working with grief, loss, and emotional recovery across 120+ countries. It runs twice a year, with a maximum of 14 participants per cohort.

The Heart Reset has three tiers: ₹49,000 (Companion — shared room), ₹69,000 (Sanctuary — private room with garden view), and ₹89,000 (Riverside — private room facing the Ganga). All tiers include accommodation, all meals, 4 days of guided practice with Ashwani Deswal, airport/station transfer, a practice journal, and 90 days of post-retreat integration support. A three-instalment payment plan is available on request.

Yes. Most of our participants are not what they would call spiritual. They are tired. They are practical. They want results, not aesthetics. The methodology is rooted in ancient practice but the language and delivery are modern, neuroscience-informed, and free of jargon. You will not be asked to chant anything you don’t want to chant.

Then you cry the whole time. That is welcome. There is a quiet agreement in this room that grief is not an interruption — it is the work. Many people arrive afraid they will cry. Many people arrive afraid they won’t be able to.

No. Every cohort holds a balance. Heartbreak does not have a gender, and neither does this room. Past cohorts have been 40–50% men, often in their 40s and 50s, often dealing with divorce or the kind of grief that men are not given permission to feel out loud.

Every participant receives 90 days of post-retreat integration: a weekly group call with Ashwani, a private WhatsApp group with your cohort, and a personal check-in at day 30. The practice you leave with is fifteen minutes a day. The community you leave with is for life.

Most people come alone. That is the design. You are not meant to manage anyone else’s experience here, or be managed. Coming alone is not a disadvantage — it is the whole point. You arrive as yourself. You do the work as yourself. You leave with thirteen people who felt the same thing and chose the same room.

Each day follows the 4D framework — Body, Mind, Emotions, Energy — in sequence. Day one is arrival and nervous system regulation. Day two is somatic release — Yoga Nidra, breath, movement. Day three is the mind work: dismantling the story, understanding the pattern. Day four is integration and the practice you carry home. Sessions run morning and evening. Afternoons are largely unstructured — the river, the garden, silence.

The application form is designed to answer this for you. Ashwani’s team reads every response and will tell you honestly if a different kind of support would serve you better right now. If you are in acute crisis, recently suicidal, or currently requiring daily clinical care, we may suggest a different entry point first. If you are functional but hurting — which describes most of our participants — the retreat is built for you.

Rishikesh has been a place of inner work for thousands of years for a reason. The Ganga, the Himalayas, the quality of silence you find away from the main market — these are not incidental. The sanctuary where we hold this retreat sits apart from the tourist area. There is no noise, no distraction, no Wi-Fi in the rooms. The environment is doing active work from the moment you arrive.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the retreat start date receive a full refund minus the application deposit. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable, but your place may be transferred to the next cohort (April 2027). If we cancel the cohort for any reason, a full refund is issued. All details are confirmed in writing at the time of acceptance.

The final step

We ask you to apply, not because we are exclusive —
because we are honest.

Not everyone who wants to come is ready to come. Sometimes the timing is wrong. Sometimes another kind of help is needed first. The application is a 12-question form. It takes about fifteen minutes. Ashwani’s team reads every one. You will hear back within 72 hours.

If we say yes, you will receive a welcome call within the week. If we say not yet, we will tell you why, refund any deposit, and suggest what might serve you better right now.
